About Housing for Cures

Housing For Cures was created out of a desire to help those going through critical life events secure affordable housing to provide space for individuals and families to thrive in the face of adversity. The founder of Housing For Cures, Eston Rogers, learned early on how critical life events can create emotional and financial strain on those going through hardships. Early in life, Eston’s father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which forced him into the role of taking care of his family. After his father’s passing, Eston was motivated to create an organization that helps those going through struggles of their own to meet life’s basic necessities, namely housing.

Housing For Cures was established to meet several goals: 1) Address the affordable housing crisis that is plaguing our nation and low-to-moderate income households, 2) Help those facing critical life events secure permanent housing, and 3) Reduce the buildup of plastic waste by using it in the development of sustainable housing projects. While ambitious, these goals are being accomplished thanks to a dedicated network of donors, as well as Eston’s experience in real estate and chemical engineering.

Housing For Cures is currently helping communities, individuals and families. In each of these locations we aim to rapidly revitalize neighborhoods and communities through sustainable and affordable housing.
